RV College of Engineering Selection Criteria

• Based on their KCET scores, an applicant from the state of Karnataka will be chosen.
• Tests like COMEDK and any other national entrance exam, however, will determine admission for students from other states.
• Those who passed the above mentioned tests with a valid rank are going to appear for counselling.
• Students who have completed the COMEDK must attend the COMEDK Counselling, and students who have passed the KCET must attend the KCET Counselling, which is conducted by KEA.
• Candidates are required to choose a course and a college throughout the counselling process.
• Seats will be allotted based on the choices made and the results of the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.E Programs:

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria before submitting the email:

• At least 70% in math and science in 10th grade.
• 11th Grade: A minimum of 65% in both physics and math.
• If the results of the 12th grade are announced: a minimum of 60% combined in math and physics.
• The candidate is required to take and pass the KEA 2023, COMED-K 2023, and JEE-MAINS 2023 examinations. It is necessary for candidates who have finished their education outside of the Indian Board to apply to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in New Delhi and get an equivalence certificate.

• Candidates must have a minimum overall average of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) and a BE/B.Tech degree, or an equivalent, in a related subject.
• Students also need to have their PGCET/GATE results.

A recent GATE or PGCET score is required for admission to the M.Tech program. Applicants who have not taken either of the above mentioned entrance exams must take the college’s entrance exam. The final choice will depend on how well the applicant performed on the entrance exam.
