RNS Institute of Technology, familiar as RNSIT was established in the year 2001. It is the brainchild of Dr. R. N. Shetty, well known industrialist, and a great philanthropist. The institution was established with a sole purpose of imparting quality education in Engineering, Technology and Management. RNS Institute of Technology Admission Procedure

  • Applicants who were hoping to get into RNSIT had to meet the requirements for admission.
  • Additionally, the candidate needs to be required to show up for one of the entrance exams for KCET/COMED-K/JEE/GATE/PGCET/KMAT.
  • Candidates must participate in a centralized counselling process for choice filling and seat distribution after the scores and rank list are published.
  • On the college website, candidates must register and submit an online application.
  • Students will be granted final admission upon completion of the selected form, document verification, and payment of the required fees throughout the counselling process.

CET

The Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, a Karnataka government organization, administers entrance exams to determine candidates’ eligibility or merit for admission to the first year or semester of full-time professional courses for the government share of seats for BE, or all engineering courses.

COMEDK

The responsibility of conducting an integrated admission exam for engineering, medical, and dental programs has been assigned to the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

JEE

Tests for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Universities/Institutions funded/recognized by participating State Governments are administered by an establishment of the Government of India. Along with being a qualifying exam for JEE (Advanced), JEE (Main) is required for admission to IIT.

GATE

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a test that evaluates a candidate’s thorough comprehension of a variety of scientific and engineering undergraduate courses in order to grant admission to the Master’s Program (M.Tech.) and to certain public sector organizations.

PGCET

The Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, an establishment of the Karnataka government, administers entrance tests to evaluate eligibility/merit for admission to the first year or first semester of full-time postgraduate courses for the Government share of seats for M.Tech., MBA, and MCA.

KMAT

The Bangalore Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) is known as KMAT. For admission to professional degrees such as MBA, PGDM, and MCA in the State of Karnataka, KMAT administers a single, combined exam. KMAT is held to determine admission to Karnataka’s self-financing institutions that are associated with universities authorized by AICTE.
