Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is managed by Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT). This Trust was established in 1975 under the Bombay Trust Act of 1950. VIT Pune Admission Procedure
Candidates must apply for JEE Main 2024, whose application procedure is as follows, in order to be considered for admission.
- Go to JEE Main’s official website to register for the online application.
- Take note of the application number that the system produced.
- Make a strong password.
- Log in again and complete the form.
- Upload scanned copies of your signature and photos.
- A fee must be paid with a credit card, debit card, Paytm, UPI, or net banking.
- Keep the hardcopy of application for later usage.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.E Programs:
A candidate who wishes to pursue a B.Tech degree at VIT Pune needs to pass either the JEE Main or the MHT-CET examination, then participate in counselling for final seat allocation. Admissions to VIT Pune will only be made through the State government admission round; no management quota will be applied for.
- 10+2 from an accredited board of education, including math, chemistry, and physics as required courses.
- Valid JEE Main or MHT CET score.
- Candidates with a three-year diploma are eligible for lateral admission to B.Tech programs.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in M.Tech Programs:
VIT Pune grants admission to its M.Tech and MCA programs based on the results of entrance exams, such as the GATE and MAH-MCA-CET, respectively.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with a minimum of 50% from an All India Council for Technical Education-approved institution or from a Central or State Government-approved institution, or an equivalent degree with at least 45% for candidates from Backward Class categories and individuals with disabilities who are only from Maharashtra State.
- Achieved Non-Zero Positive GATE Score
- A minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a recognized company, industry, educational institution, research institute, government department, or government-autonomous organization in the appropriate field of study for sponsored applicants.
