The D Y Patil Group of Institutions has been a prominent group among India’s best educational institutions since 1983. The Maharashtra government’s Act No. VI of 2019 created the D Y Patil University in Pune, which is accredited by the UGC in New Delhi, India.

D Y PATIL Pune Admission Procedure

• Apply Online
  • Students must apply online for UG, PG, and diploma programs. You can also consult the Admission Handbook’s Activity Schedule.
  • To begin the online admission application process, candidates can go to www.dypatiluniversitypune.edu.in, click on the Admission Tab, and begin filling out the form.
  • After clicking on the link for a certain program and choosing it, you must provide your mobile number in order to receive an OTP and begin the online application process.
• Filling Of Online Admission Application Form
  • Complete the online application form by selecting the desired program. Please take notice that candidates for engineering programs must specify the specialization or branch they choose.
  • Please have all of your documentation available while filling out the form, along with your payment for the transaction.
  • Complete the application form completely and accurately. Please fill out all required information areas. The application form must be sent with a current photo of the candidate and a digital signature (in the form of a JPG, JPEG, or PNG file with a white backdrop that is no larger than 1 MB).
• Payment Of Application Form Fee Can Be Paid Via Debit/ Credit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking
  • Application Fee for Admission: The cost of the diploma and undergraduate program is about Rs. 800. Postgraduate Program: One Thousand Rupees (Rs. 1000).
  • In order to pay the application fee, the candidate must choose between paying with a debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking. To finish the payment transaction, the candidate has to follow the online instructions. If the confirmation page does not appear after payment, the transaction is cancelled, and the applicant must contact the relevant bank for a refund. If the Confirmation Page does not appear, the candidate will need to make another payment or transaction in order to finish the online application process.
  • The candidate may call the technical helpdesk number in case they encounter any technical difficulties with the payment and submission of the form.
• Payment Receipt
  • The student will receive a receipt that they may download for their records following the successful submission of their form and the payment of the form fee.
• Acknowledgment Of Online Application Form
  • The student can download the form and will receive an acknowledgement email on the registered mail ID upon successful form submission.
• Selection Process
  • The Admission Office of D Y Patil University in Pune will oversee the admissions selection process. Please be aware that the admissions procedure at D Y Patil University in Pune obeys to Maharashtra government, AICTE, and UGC guidelines. Candidates must personally attend; otherwise, their applications will be rejected. If an applicant is unable to attend, he or she may appear in next round/s if announced by the institution or if a seat/s becomes available.
• Confirmation Of Admission
  • The candidate must show up on campus for the university’s entrance round, selection procedure, and counselling. The candidate is asked to consult the admission handbook for information on the rounds of the relevant program’s admission procedure.
  • After the merit list is announced, the candidate must confirm admission:
  • Payment of their first installment of academic fees. You have two options for paying these fees: online or by demand draft.
  • The original documents must be submitted by the student together with two sets of photocopies.
  • To confirm admission to the relevant programs in accordance with regulatory authorities’ guidelines, eligibility assessments and document verifications in accordance with the criteria will be carried out.
  • At the time of provisional admission, the list of original documents to be submitted for eligibility verification and inspection will be provided. If a document is not submitted or there is a disagreement regarding eligibility conditions, admission will be automatically cancelled.
  • If a candidate is not accepted into a program, they may select another one as long as they meet the requirements.
• Accommodation And Mess
  • On campus, the institution provides separate hostels and accommodations for males and females. Students are asked to apply for the hostel and canteen using the required form as soon as their admission has been confirmed.
  • Please be aware that the students will be responsible for paying a separate mess and hostel cost, which is not included in the program expenses.
• Education Loan
  • For the convenience of the student, the program fee payment plan is provided in the admission handbook. If a student wants to apply for a loan at a bank or other financial institution, the university will provide you with the necessary letters.
• Academic Commencement

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.E Programs:

• Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology OR Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in the case of backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I OR the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2021/PERA-CET 2021 and should obtain a nonzero score in MHT-CET 2021/PERA-CET 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in M.Tech Programs:

• Passed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45 % in case of Backward class categories and Person with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
• Passed bachelor’s degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought.
• Obtained Non-Zero positive score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2021) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology OR PERA-CET 2021 conducted by the Preeminent Education and Research Association (PERA).

The college itself is a sight to behold. It has all the essential requirements and is well maintained. It is a high profile, well maintained college with all the essentials. There are a lot of beautiful buildings on the campus, and some new ones are coming in soon. The classrooms are spacious and the benches, walls, blackboards are in perfect condition. There are also a number of other facilities available on the campus such as labs, libraries and grounds. In particular, hostels are spacious, well-maintained, and the food is also very tasty, fresh and well-prepared.

The placements regarding this particular college are quite impressive. It has been reported that the majority of students placed are from the Computer Science and Information Technology departments. Furthermore, students in the Mechanical Department receive significant packages from renowned companies as well. The support from the teachers has been outstanding.
